Occasionally we get clients that have "forgotten" to file their annual legal filings. If you miss two of these your corporation will be involuntarily dissolved and CRA won't allow you to file a corporate tax return. (No this does not mean that you don't need to file it!)

  1. Go to your registries office (or your corporate lawyer) and request to revive your corporation (please have the legal name of your corporation and your incorporation number ready)
  2. Once complete they will give you a certificate of Reinstatement
  3. Fax this certificate into CRA Attn: Corporate Internet Filing 902-432-5938 and as well give a copy to your accountant/corporate lawyer
  4. Have your accountant re-submit the corporate return(s) that have been previously refused.
